Issuance of a green visa
(self-employment)
An entry visa for self-employment is given to a foreigner, enabling him to remain in the Country for (60) sixty days from the date of entry until the necessary processes for issuing residence have been completed.
1. A personal photo.
2. A copy of the passport, with a validity of not less than 6 months.
3. A self-employed permit from the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation.

1. Log in to the smart services system through (UAE Pass or username).
2. Search for the service to be applied for.
3. Fill in the application data, where applicable.
4. Pay the service fee (if any).

1. Visit the nearest Customer Happiness Centre.
2. Get the automated turn ticket and wait.
3. Submitting the application that fulfils all conditions and documents (if any) to the customer service employee.

Note: The total amount of the visa may vary depending on the circumstances surrounding the sponsored person or for other reasons that may require that.

2. A bachelor's degree, a specialised diploma, or its equivalent is the minimum educational requirement.
3. The applicant must prove his financial stability throughout his stay in the Country, and his annual income for the two previous years cannot be less than 360 000 Dirhams or the equivalent in other currencies.
