Accessibility options
As part of its effort to facilitate access to information and services through its website, the GDRFAD had designed its website with a set of features that help users, especially those with special needs, to access required information or services in an easy and quick manner.
Features that help easy browsing of the website include:
- Sitemap
- Text-to-speech
- Zoom in screen
- Change font size
- Alternative texts for images
The GDRFAD follows the international W3C Standards in designing and structuring its website, making it easy to browse and access all its information and services.
GDRFAD website provides the text-to-speech feature for users with special needs or visually impaired. The feature can be used by clicking on the “Listen” icon in accessibility options menu.
When facing difficulty in reading texts or viewing images, users can use the zoom-in feature from the View menu on their browsers and adjust screen size.
If you find it difficult to read the text on your screen, you may increase/decrease the font size by clicking on the (+A) or (-A) icons in accessibility options menu. You may, as well, change the font size using your browser’s tools.
Each image on GDRFAD website is tagged with appropriate description. Users can view the description by positioning the mouse cursor over the image.
