GDRFA Dubai Activates Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics to Support Decision-Making and Achi
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) announced during its participation in GITEX Global 2024 the activation of the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and big data analytics technologies. This comes as part of its vision to enhance comprehensive digital transformation and offer innovative proactive services. The initiative aims to position Dubai Residency at the forefront of government entities investing in advanced technology to provide exceptional services that improve operational efficiency and enhance the quality of life for customers.
In this regard, His Excellency General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, stated: “We are working according to a strategic vision aligned with the leadership’s aspirations toward a fully digital future. The use of AI for data analytics is not just a step towards digitization; it is a tool that enables us to deliver personalized services that comprehensively enhance the customer experience. On his part, Lt. Col. Expert Khalid Bin Madiya Al Falasi, Deputy Assistant Director for Smart Services at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, said: “Data analysis using AI is one of the essential tools we rely on to enhance services and support strategic decision-making. Predictive analytics enable us to anticipate the future volume of transactions, allowing us to prepare in advance and allocate resources efficiently to ensure the fastest service delivery.”
Al Falasi pointed out that the Directorate has adopted generative AI technologies to provide real-time accurate information, contributing to improved customer experiences and proactive solutions for handling inquiries and needs. He added: “Our use of advanced AI not only improves service quality but also helps us discover new patterns in data and analyze customer satisfaction levels, allowing us to continuously design services that meet their expectations.”
