GDRFA Dubai Graduates 20 Employees from the "Volunteer Work License" Program

 The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has announced the graduation of 20 employees from the "Volunteer Work License" program, implemented in collaboration with Forward Management Consulting, Social Enterprise UK, and Piozone International Pioneers. The program aims to empower participants with the necessary skills for effective volunteering in line with the highest international standards.

The program included a diverse range of workshops and interactive lectures focusing on developing skills in volunteer project management, enhancing effective communication, and fostering leadership capabilities. It also featured discussion sessions addressing the opportunities and challenges faced by volunteers, as well as showcasing inspiring success stories from various fields of volunteer work.

Commenting on the program, Brigadier General Abdul Samad Hussein Suleiman Al Balushi, Assistant Director General for the Institutional Support Affairs at GDRFA Dubai, said:
“The 'Volunteer Work License' program represents a significant step in promoting a culture of volunteering among our employees and preparing a workforce capable of making a meaningful contribution to the community. Volunteering is not just a humanitarian act; it is also a tool for developing skills and building leadership capacities that align with the UAE’s vision for sustainable development.”

The participants praised the advanced training content and practical tools provided during the program, which have significantly enhanced their ability to deliver impactful community services both locally and globally.

At the conclusion of the program, participants received professional certifications in volunteering, underscoring their commitment and readiness to apply what they have learned in service to the community and to achieve excellence in this field.
