GDRFA Dubai Celebrates 94th Saudi National Day at Dubai Airports
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai celebrated the 94th Saudi National Day, which falls on September 23rd each year, by organizing a series of events and activities, including lighting the smart gates in green. This was done to highlight the deep brotherly relations and the strong strategic partnership between the UAE and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
As part of the celebrations, frontline officers at GDRFA Dubai wore sashes bearing the flags of both countries, while passport control officers at Dubai Airports welcomed Saudi visitors with flowers, flags, Arabic coffee, dates, and souvenirs, symbolizing the exceptional relationship between the two peoples, who share common bonds of religion, language, history, customs, and traditions.
The festive atmosphere was further enhanced by lighting the smart gates in green and presenting gifts to children welcomed by the beloved cartoon characters "Salem and Salama." Arriving visitors received commemorative gift boxes, along with a SIM card provided by DU, a subsidiary of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company. Saudi passports were adorned with the 94th Saudi National Day logo and stamped with the phrase (#UAE_Saudi_Together_Forever).
