General Mohammed Al Marri receives the exceptional mark of the Emirates National Award 2024
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, and in the presence of Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Incorporated, the Emirates National Foundation announced the awarding of His Excellency General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, with the "Exceptional Mark" of the Watani Al Emarat Humanitarian Work Award 2024. This is in recognition of his pioneering efforts in solidifying national, cultural, and humanitarian values in the Emirati society.
This award falls within the initiatives of the Emirates National Foundation, coinciding with the 11th edition of Zayed Humanitarian Day 2024, which commemorates the anniversary of the passing of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, aiming to enhance and build a system of appreciation and praise for institutions, entities, and personalities in the Emirati and Arab community who reflect their influential contributions.
General Mohammed Al Marri expressed his pride in receiving this award, noting that the Emirati society as a whole is based on a system of values, principles, customs, and historical legacies that emphasize the importance of honouring guests and providing assistance to the needy or affected, in dedication to the entrenched Emirati-Arabic and humanitarian identity. He affirmed that the values, noble principles, and lofty ideals are characteristics that distinguish the Emirati society under wise leadership that encourages and initiates the reinforcement of this culture in practical terms.
