GDRFA Dubai Celebrates Kuwaiti National Day with Special Airport Welcome for Kuwaiti Nationals
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has organised a special welcome for Kuwaiti travellers arriving at Dubai International Airport in celebration of Kuwaiti National Day.
The celebration included a unique programme featuring the stamping of passports with a commemorative entry stamp designed specifically for this occasion, symbolising the celebration of Kuwaiti National Day on February 25th each year.
The festivities extended beyond passport stamping to include the distribution of souvenirs and the lighting of smart gates in a vibrant blue. The celebration was made even more memorable with the participation of Salem and Salama in welcoming the children, adding a warm and personal touch to the travellers' experience.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, emphasised that the Emirati and Kuwaiti peoples share deep-rooted cultural, economic, and social ties, illustrating the strong cohesion and interdependence between the two nations.
He further remarked that the warm reception held in honour of Kuwait's National Day is a testament to the UAE's profound appreciation and respect for the leadership and people of Kuwait, underscoring the enduring commitment to fostering and developing these robust bilateral relations.
