GDRFA Dubai and Ajman Chamber Forge Strategic Partnership for Sustainable Development
The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) in Dubai has forged a strategic partnership agreement with the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aiming to consolidate efforts for sustainable development.
The agreement, signed by HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, and HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, focuses on implementing best practices and educational initiatives in specialised fields.
Key areas of collaboration include employee training in the Global Star Rating System for services, change management, strategic indicator management, partnership and government communication, as well as innovation management and exhibition organisation frameworks.
The agreement outlines a framework for mutual support through the sharing of expertise and leveraging the available workforce in accordance with the operational rules and procedures at GDRFA and Ajman Chamber.
The provisions outlined focus on enhancing the institutional support sector, encompassing entities like the Institutional Leadership Department and the Innovation and Future Center. This is to facilitate the exchange of experiences, studies, best practices, creative and innovative ideas, as well as field visits to foster joint development and cooperation.
HE Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri stressed that the agreement aims not only to foster communication and establish a cooperative framework in the realm of initiatives, projects, and system exchanges, but also drive progress through the coordination of events, activities, training sessions, and workshops.
Lauding the partnership with GDRFA, HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Muwaiji highlighted that the agreement will equip Ajman Chamber staff with valuable skills and experience on how best they can utilise the available workforce and resources and provide the necessary infrastructure as well as human capital to execute joint programmes and activities in areas of mutual interest.
