- Priority will be given to citizens of the United Arab Emirates.
- The educational qualification should not be less than high school and the academic qualification required according to the requirements of the available jobs or its equivalent, from one of the police colleges or institutes, or one of the universities or institutes recognized by the competent authorities in the country.
- Successfully pass the personal interview and smart tests.
- Fulfill the health fitness requirements as determined by the medical authorities approved by the department.
- Provide a certificate of good conduct and behavior stating that the criminal record is free of any criminal records and proof of good conduct and that he has not previously been sentenced to a penalty depriving him of freedom in a felony, or to any penalty in a crime that violates honor or trust, within the dates specified by the department.
- Not to have been stripped of his military rank or expelled or dismissed from service from any security, military or civil authority.
- The height should not be less than 165 (height and weight should be proportionate).
- The age should not be less than 18 years.
- To have completed all the requirements of the second medical degree for male personnel.
- To have the desire to work in the field and work in shifts.
- It is necessary to obtain an IELTS or EMSAT certificate in English for some specialized and vital jobs in the department according to the identified needs and the ability to work on Microsoft Office programs.
