Interior Minister Award The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai won the Minister of Interior's award in 2017 in several categories, including the category for forgery seizures represented by the Documents Examination Center, the category for the best entity in the field of following up on violators represented by the Investigation Department; first place in the category of the leading agency; and the award for the category of innovation.

Interior Minister Award • First place in the Minister of Interior Award (leader stage) for the Distinguished Internal Performance Improvement Team for the Dubai Model Team and the problem-solving category in the "Counting Violators" initiative went to the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai. The top spot for the best customer service facility. • Colonel Hussein Ibrahim Ahmed was recognised as the best officer in the field of supervision. • Lieutenant Rashid Abdullah Saeed took first place as the best officer in the field. • To protect ports, Sergeant Faisal Abdullah Al Zaabi received this honour. • The Creative Employee Award went to Captain Marwan Abdullah Belhasa. • Assistant Ahmed Abdullah Naji won the best non-commissioned officer and personnel award in the administrative field. • Captain Amer Rashid Aaded Al Muhairi won the technical field's best non-commissioned officer and personnel award. • Al-Madani Talib, bin Ali Al-Shehhi, won the Ideal Driver Award.

Emirates Triathlon Association The "Oceanic Khorfakkan" race, which was overseen by the Emirates Triathlon Association and featured more than 400 male and female athletes of various nationalities, was won by the Dubai residency. Amer Al Bahri, Khalifa Al Nuaimi, and Mohammed Al Marawi were members of the Dubai Triathlon team.

The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, represented by the Department of Future Ports, the Airports Sector, won first place in the International Business and Leadership Excellence Awards in the category of government services. utilizing smart gates to pass through immigration at Dubai International Airport without having to present any identification, such as a passport, identity card, or boarding pass.
